The step-by-step of her Golden Globes look straight from celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff.
“Naomi’s drop-dead gorgeous Tom Ford gown—with its delicate oyster gold and chains in the back—has a tough, über-chic, polished effect,” says celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff, who prepped the actress for the big night. “Because her dress is so sleek, I wanted her makeup to be too, but without any heaviness.”
First, Dubroff used Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation, plus Lancôme Dual Finish face powder . “It ensures that everything is set and perfect—and it goes in her bag for the night, too,” says Dubroff.
Dubroff gave Watt’s cheeks a natural flush of colour with Lancôme Blush Subtil Palette in Shimmer Menage a Trois Kiss, at the apples as well as right on the top of her cheekbones. “I swirled the peach and pink together to create the perfect balance of color,” she says.
But the main focus of the look was the eyes. Dubroff used Maybelline Define-A-Brow in Dark Blonde. “I love this pencil so much!” says Dubroff. Taking Lancôme Le Crayon Kohl eye pencil in Black Coffee to define her lash line, she slightly smudged in the color along the line as well as Lancôme Artliner 24H in Gold , a cream shadow she used all over the lids (smudging colour in with her finger). Which was followed by Dubroff’s own Pati Dubroff Beauty eye shadow in Golden Leaf and Oleander, for an extra pop of colour. To finish, she used a few clean coats of Lancôme Definicils mascara.
On her lips, Dubroff added a touch of peachy-beige with Lancôme Rouge in Love in Lasting Kiss.
